She specializes on working with injuries and illnesses, such as back pain,shoulder/neck complications, anxiety, arthritis, cancer, obesity and diabetes.By helping her students to look where their bodies are underused, overused or just plain out of the touch, she,in her private work, develops the best possible practice for each individuall by tailoring each session to her client's specific needs.Dagmar strongly believes in ONE-ON-ONE time with her students,as she has observed that not two bodies are alike. In her work she makes Yoga available to people who think they can't practice-people with health challenges and motion restrictions, people who are inflexible, people with round bodies or those who think they might be too old to practice. Her strong intention is to deepen the student's connection to their body, mind and spirit and enhance their overall sense of well-being.Her work in Yoga integrates state of flow with dynamic stillness, power with surrender and tradition with unbrilled creativity.Through the combination of vinyasa, theurapetic postures, affirmations, stories and meditation she offers an oasis of peace and happiness in people's everyday lives. |
